The value for the money at this hotel was excellent, with clean and tastefully decorated rooms. The location within the old town was charming, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
It would have been nice to have better boiled eggs at breakfast.

Great location in the historical centre
Noisy until midnight and already again from 6 o'clock in the morning because of restaurant in the house with outside seats. The staff was particularly noisy, clearing up at night and setting up the outdoor furniture early in the morning.

This hotel in the old part of town is a hidden gem. The central location inside the citadel walls is perfect for exploring. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms, although simple, are comfortable and have windows to two sides on the top floor, providing lovely views of the surroundings. And let's not forget the breakfast buffet, with its delicious flakey croissants that were an absolute delight.
All in all, our stay at this hotel was fantastic and we couldn't fault a thing.

My recent stay at Auberge De La Paix in Briancon was a great experience. The location in the fortified old center of town was fantastic, allowing me to easily explore the historic surroundings. The spacious and comfortable rooms were perfect for a relaxing stay. Additionally, the warm and friendly staff, especially the ladies at the front desk, made me feel welcome throughout my time there. The hotel's breakfast, although not memorable, was still sufficient to start off my day. I would recommend this hotel for its convenient location, comfortable rooms, and welcoming atmosphere.

The room was clean and spacious, offering enough space for us to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. The historical charm of the hotel added to the overall experience, making it a memorable weekend getaway.
There were a few drawbacks to our stay. The facilities were in need of maintenance, with issues such as a sink that didn't drain properly and inconsistent water temperature in the shower.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming boutique hotel nestled in the heart of a historical citadel. The hotel's attention to detail and value for money truly impressed me. The location within the ancient city walls was breathtaking, allowing for easy exploration of the surrounding area. The friendly and helpful staff made my experience even more enjoyable. Furthermore, I was delighted to find that my top-floor room had windows on two sides which provided stunning views of the surroundings. The breakfast offered was delicious and a great way to start the day.
All aspects of my stay were more than satisfactory.

We appreciated the romantic atmosphere of the hotel. The room was cozy and perfect for our escape. The view of the sunset from the window was breathtaking. the restaurant served an exceptional dish of grilled fish. We also enjoyed the complimentary bottle of rose in our room.
The hotel was difficult to find, and the directions given by the staff were not clear enough. The lack of adequate parking was frustrating as we had to park quite a distance away.

The hotel is in a great location, perfect for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout our stay. We particularly enjoyed the festive decorations and the cozy atmosphere of the hotel during the Christmas season.
There were some downsides to our stay. The facilities could use some improvement, as the rooms felt a bit musty and outdated. Additionally, there were some accessibility issues, with no elevator and limited power points. However, overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the historic charm of the town.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, nestled inside the citadel of an old medieval town. It's a unique experience to stay in such a historic building. The staff at this hotel are really very good and friendly, providing excellent service. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities including a nice refurbished bathroom.
One small issue was that breakfast was a bit of a disaster, with the self-service buffet being wiped out by a cycling party. However, the hotel made up for it by charging us for only one person instead of two, which was a nice gesture.
